Since 1867, not much has changed at the intersection of McGinnis, Harmon, and Belcoda roads. And there’s a certain beauty in that. This nexus of country roads has been a gathering place for families for generations, whether it be at the schoolhouse, the church that once stood across the street, or at the cemetery down the road. This intersection wears the history of a region on its sleeve.
In 2023 the Schoolhouse started a new chapter, following an extensive renovation, Wheatland Schoolhouse No.7 is now a place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the tranquility of country life.
